Welcome to the 'First Whenever Dream World Contest'. In this contest you will be designing your own magical world and writing a short story about it. The goal of this contest is to hopefully help you improve your worldbuilding skills a bit, and help you come up with unique ideas for your own stories.

* The Maximum Word Limit Is 3,000 Words

* Only One Entry Per Person

* No Hateful Comments Or Entries About Race, Gender, Or Anything Like That. This Contest Is Not The Place For It.

* Blood, Violence, And Mental Illness Can Be Included, As Long As It's Not Explained In Graphic Detail Or Erotic.

Contest Theme: Comfort

The dream world you create should make the characters feel relaxed and comfortable, or at the very least, calm.

Genres: Any Genre

As long as the dream world matches with it and it doesn't break the rules, write whatever genre you want.

Story Needs To Include:

1. Some other living creature that isn't human

2. At least 2 different characters

3. At least 5 different locations within the world

4. A brief backstory for either the characters or the world

5. Some sort of structure or building

This contest will go on for 3 weeks. If you are having trouble coming up with ideas, you are likely overthinking it. It could be a world made entirely of plastic, a magical forest or garden, or even a world with floating heads in the sky. It's just about having fun and being creative.
