Hezago's first year at the Vonellia was, to put it mildly, rather dull. Aside from the incident that led to Elisio's spiralling depression and the expulsion of a few others, there were few things worth noting. The first few months were filled with boring activities, and Hezago found himself jotting down facts and figures he already knew—some of which he had created—and engaging in other trivial activities that, in his opinion, were rather— no, definitely— pointless.

Mrs. Madernin, the mathematics teacher, often found herself at odds with Hezago. She was rather impulsive in nature, and proved to be a woman who seemed incapable of admitting her mistakes, much to everyones’ irritation. However, despite how much he disliked her, he simply couldn't dismiss her, as the school she worked for was in debt to one of his governments to the tune of over a billion dollars, and removing her from her position would most definitely not help anybody.

The threat of war with Granada Costa, of which was a result of the vegetable oil incident, appeared to be a conflict that could be absurdly easily resolved. A strong worded letter served as a stern warning, effectively silencing spite from them. Meanwhile, the Borealian council was, as usual, a constant thorn in Hezago's side, tirelessly working against his legislative efforts and then conveniently directing public anger towards him for the ensuing issues. Ironic it was, though, as while they wallowed in their ignorance, Hezago was seeking solutions to the existential decay that threatened their very reality. Although a solution didn't look to be there, he remained confident that with time he would find it.

He honestly did not want to be staying at the school as much as he did, but Zack’s reciprocated warmth convinced him otherwise. When given the chance, they and the others would vacate to Hezago’s many unplottable castles. He found much solace in the solitude the castles provided.

Reflecting on his Fourth till Endth grade, Hezago concluded that, despite the occasional chaos, his experience was... tolerable, to say the least. Returning for another year, although daunting at first, did'nt seem as such no longer. Perhaps there would be more to Vonellia than met the eye, and he could only deal with what the future offered.
