今人常論古文之重，何以習古文？古文絕非之乎者也，實，炎黃之志方傳至今日，古文功不可沒。白話百年滄桑，然古文千年不改。我等得以習之孔孟，乃古文為之，唯古文為之。若今古文逝焉，華夏之盛何以續之？

是集，用字淺俗，無怪力亂神，近映民生，此中亦有真理，使人興味無窮。嘗閱此書者曰：｢良書也。」
