**Something To Think About**
**Chapter 2 **
I finally wake up, and it's 11:16 a.m. The only good thing about today is that I'm off. It's Saturday, just another rainy day in April. I get up, make myself some coffee, and check the local news app called Riverton Today. It's the same rehashed stuff from the bigger news outlets with some local stories thrown in. Nothing really stands out—no murders reported so far.
This psycho has been running around since I was 15 years old, and no one can catch him. Why? I wonder if he will mess up somewhere. The problem is, he doesn't seem to have a specific type. Unless you count business professionals or something like that, like my dad. Does he know the people he kills? I really can't seem to put my finger on it. Is it multiple things that trigger this guy? The only clue he leaves is the word MIDNIGHT written in the victim's blood , is this the time he killed them or is it what he calls himself it certainly something to think about.
I'll have the day to ponder this between aimless TV watching and pacing the floor between the coffee pot and the bathroom. This day will be as fruitless as other days in trying to stop this guy. Between the commercials and the mindless banter of network TV, I'll be sitting in my apartment on another fine rainy day.
