It all begins anew. Rakka and the others discover two cocoons and help the new residents of Old Home settle in their new reality.

This is a fanfictional continuation of, probably, my favorite anime series, period. It's called Haibane Renmei, is only 13 episodes and so can technically be watched in a single day. It's not very action-packed but delivers a sense of wonder, mysticism and music and art that're out of this world. I'd hesitate to call it urban "fantasy" as well, because it doesn't have a lot of classic creatures or happenings of the sort, aside from the min characters and their likes, and their origins. A definite must-see if you like this sort of stuff. I dare say this continuation can be read separately and still be followed to a certain degree, though.
