Episode 28 Continued - Her Butler, Done with Waiting
“Master?” Maddox said from behind me. “What are we shopping for?”
I smiled. “Definitely not me. I have enough crap as it is.”
I felt his eyes burn into the back of my head.
I just stopped at a store front and turned toward them. “This is a thank you. I couldn’t have done any of this without the help of you four.” I nodded my head. “All of you deserve a prize of some sort.”
Scarlet and Cammie squished their own cheeks, and Maddox’s eyes sparkled.
Carter tried to remain calm but failed.
“Really?” they all said at once.
“Why would I lie about that?” I said then, turning toward the store front. “I’m cruel but not that cruel.”
I then walked in the shop, all of them following behind me.
It was a weapons shop, one with once side covered entirely with guns, and the other covered entirely with swords and daggers.
Maddox and Scarlet immediately squealed in excitement and rushed forward, catching weapons and examining them before moving onto others.
I just smiled, staying in place.
We went through a lot of shops after this, though… we went to a bakery full of cakes and tarts which made Cammie lustful, almost, and afterward, we went to Carter’s favorite shop… a… bookstore.
Hey, I’m not one to judge, am I?
I walked in after Carter, and he immediately went to the adult romance section.
Of course… because… why not?
Seconds later, Carter rushed back toward us. “Master, master, look! A limited edition!”
He flashed me a magazine, and my eyes widened when I saw a picture of a half-naked girl onto it.
Sebastian immediately covered my exposed eye, but my mouth was still parted in shock.
“Put that back,” he said, annoyed.
Carter grumbled in annoyance and walked off.
Wow, protecting my innocence after you took it last night…? What is with you?
Ten minutes later, Carter was immersed in a conversation with the store owner about some book series he was interested in. They’d been talking for a while, it felt like.
I stood at the front of the store, gazing around before looking fully at Sebastian. “All of them had their fun. Except for you. Do you want anything?”
He gazed down at me then, red eyes glowing slightly with the sky lights. “I am fine with what I have, master.”
My lashes lowered, and I stared back forward. “Well, if you change your mind, then let me know.”
He was silent for a moment, but then he gazed down at me. “Actually… if you really mean it. There is one thing.”
“Oh?” I said then.
About twenty minutes later, we were in an alleyway, and my brow twitched in annoyance as Sebastian knelt on the ground.
His eyes sparkled like a child as he pet a kitten on the ground, rubbing its little belly as it mewed and squirmed around.
When he released it, it climbed onto him, up onto his hair and clutched onto him.
He then looked up at me, pointing to his head where the cat sat, lightly gnawing his hair.
I glared when his eyes glistened with a “please?”
“Sebastian…” I said, “no.”
He gazed up, pouting. “But you said anything! And plus… I had to give all the other kittens to a shelter. I want one of my own! They’re just so fascinating creatures!”
I closed my eyes tightly, sighing heavily. “Sebastian, I am allergic.”
“I can make sure it never enters your spaces!” he argued. “You know I will, master.”
I gave him an annoyed look.
He just smiled and stood, the cat still clutching onto his hair.
His eyes grew lustful as he tipped his head back, sighing as he ran his fingers through his hair, making a low groaning noise as he flipped it backwards. “It’s very hot out today, don’t you think, master?”
He started unbuttoning his shirt, making my lashes lower despite something burning deep below.
“Really?” I said as he shoved his chest forward, exposing his pecs.
He gazed up. “It doesn’t work on you?”
I just coughed and turned around, covering my face. “God, you’re such a whore.”
He just stepped up to me. “Pleaaaaaaaase?”
I sighed and kept my hands in my face. “Fine,” I said then, raising my head, “keep the fucking cat.”
He silently cheered, although I ignored it and started walking forward.
“So, it did work?” he said then, following me. “It usually does.”
I just rolled my eyes. “No, it didn’t, you idiot. I did say anything you wanted.”
I glanced over at him then, finding his smile all fox.
I just stared back forward, cheeks burning. “Button your shirt. Now.”
He made a surprised sound and listened, buttoning it quickly.
We then stepped out from the alleyway.
“Oh, master, hey!” Cammie said, dashing toward us as the others followed behind her. “I GOT ENDLESS CAKES!”
“I know,” I said, laughing softly, “I was there.”
They all stopped in front of us, gazing over at Sebastian.
“Uh… why does Sebastian have a cat on his head?” Maddox said then.
“It’s his cat—” I leaned forward, immediately sneezing.
Sebastian took one step to the side—distancing himself and the cat from me—and I glared over at him. “Clean that thing.”
His lips themselves looked like a cat’s smile. He just nodded once, blinking. “Yes, master.”
I just rolled my eyes and stepped up to the car. “You’re way too happy. It’s concerning me.”
