Five years ago, something had spawned all over the world, causing the peaceful days of humanity to end, and as humanity slowly fell into dispair, there were some people who had abilities, and those humans were called the Vanz. The Vanz had came together as one and fended off the enemies known as the Vale together, and many people died as a result, and that day was known as the Battle of Balerog. After the war, the governments all over the world came together and made a association to fend against the Vale, which known as Xarx, and from there, formed the Synax, a group which was filled with strong Vanz that not many people heard about, and they were loved by many people who they had saved, or so they thought.

16-years old Amano Atsushi could avow for this, knowing exactly what would happen when he first joined the Synax and become the youngest and most brilliant commander, but now living in exile after being dishonarably discharged due to his error in judgement during an operation which caused the lives of his former teammates, he was approached by his former ex-vice commander, now the commander, 17-years old Katayama Mayumi to be the captain of the new Synax squad, and having no choice, he accpted it, only to find that the world he once known had changed, and there were some things in his past remaining, reminding of him of what once was, when he was the commander, which shocked him to the core. Now tasked with a heavy burden which he must shoulder, Amano had to lead the new Synax squad to save the world once again. But can he, when the memories of the past threatened to pull him apart in the seams?
