After being dragged out of his hometown in Henki, Echo Raine and his family moves to a forgotten and beautiful city called Selonika. Hoping to take a midnight stroll around the park, he hears the sound of a violin coming from the bottom of a secluded stairway. He meets with the park 'ghost', Violet Elysora, who explains that he needs to become one with the town, and so Echo's search begins as he tries to understand the strange and melancholic aura that surrounds Selonika.
