Most likely, I'd say the best way I have overcome writer's block is to just sleep on it. Let the problem stew in the back of my mind while I go and do something else. Let the thoughts simmer a while, maybe turn on some music and try again. Occasionally, I might bounce ideas off my friends and family until one seems like it may work on solving the block. But I would say sleeping on it works the best so far as I've seen.
