4. A Terrible Stillness

He despised what his life had become so he had given into her, but Nikolai is quickly discovering that when he left behind his old life he left behind more than that as well. Isabelle had not been the only succubus in that deserted town and as a new enemy draws closer he falls back in with his childhood crush and her elder brother- the both of them creatures he had been raised to despise at all costs. Somethings don't stay buried and Nikolai is quickly losing hold of all that's important in the process.
