I've been on a last minute vacation, so I haven't been on in four days. Sorry about that. Anyway, here's the new issue. 1208Please respect copyright.PENANAU4Ow27SxRm

There’s a rule that people tend to skip in the honorary How to Act like a Decent Human Being Handbook : kindness. People are so quick to act mean and rude towards one another. They don’t understand how far such simple kindnesses can go. Even smiling and asking someone how they are doing when you pass them in the hall can brighten someone’s day. It sure makes me feel better, I like the feeling that someone actually cares about my feelings.1208Please respect copyright.PENANALpbvGwmuIM
Feelings. For us to be so “human”, we sure don’t act like it. Yes, I know that humans make mistakes, but you should always apologize for them. When you call someone fat or say something ungrateful, that (believe it or not) hurts someone’s feelings. People have feelings, even you have feelings. How do you like it when someone hurts your feelings? I bet you want a meaningful apology, don’t you? I sure as hell would.
It may not be okay right then, but at least a decent apology is a start.
Don’t think about yourself all the time. Other people have needs and feelings and hopes and dreams and everything that you do. Not only do they have those things, but they also have meanness and hatefulness and lust and envy in them. Those angry feelings could come back to you one day.
Never burn bridges, because you never know when you might need to cross one.
I know firsthand how bitchy karma can be. So take yourself off of karma’s list and be nice to people! What comes around goes around. It’s a simple fact. But, everyone seems to think they are immune until it comes and hits them in the ass.
Being nice isn’t only to make others feel better, it’s a benefit to you too. You’ll feel good when you do good. Helping others is like chocolate for your soul. You will feel better about yourself when you are being a respectful, helpful, and kind person. Why do you think doctors, teachers, therapists, and so many more people help other people? It makes them feel good only by making others feel good. It is such a simplistic idea.
I don’t understand why people can’t just be a little kinder.
People help the people. Be one of those people.1208Please respect copyright.PENANAp4aX6C7B5t
