Hey everyone! This is something I've been wanting to do based on a writing exercise I got in college.

Take an ordinary, everyday object (mine was a chair), and describe it in a specific tone (like horror, whimsy, comedy, etc.). I'll let you guys choose the object and tone, or I can assign them if you get stuck for ideas.

Try to keep it short, and please let me know which object and tone you're describing in the title or under the description.

Winners will be picked based on how well they make the ordinary seem extraordinary!
