Cell phones, everyone has one. My youngest child wants an IPhone. I have a cell phone, so I see how it comes in use, but some days its a nuisance.
Like when I say a family meal, when everyone sits around the table texting someone, or playing a game, or whatever the younger generation does. Guess what, when I was younger we had one phone, attached to the kitchen wall, by a cord. Answering the phone at meal times was not acceptable. Calling during meal times, when not an emergency was looked down upon.
And what is with the way some people text. IDK and LOL I can sort of understand, but what does SMH stand for? And what does spelling boy as boi or girl as girl accomplish? Is five letters so long you have to shorten later to l8r? Who in the world comes up with that?673Please respect copyright.PENANACBGxfLLjQ8
And what is the candy crush and why is everyone obsessed with it? What happened to calling someone on the phone? What happened to talking to someone who is in the same room instead of texting them?
And sexting or sex-texting or whatever. Why do people send those sort of pictures to people they barely know? I mean, sure back in my days we weren't completly innocent, but texting nudes to people with the risk of them being given out.
Do cell phones have a purpose beside texting, sending inappropriate pictures, and whatever candy crush is? I'd add calling to the list, but no one does that any more
