Magic was extinct... well as far as the mundane knew, during the Salem witch trials only fifteen mages, warlocks and witches managed to escape, Aine knew that her child, Elvina, would only be in danger so late at night the witch snuck into the closest mundane town and left her small child at the doorstep of Rhys and Margot Allegra. 

Sixteen years later and Rhys and Margot are finally understanding that perhaps there is something different about Elvina but would they protect their child knowing that she is harbouring illegal magic?
