When the major corporation, GreenWorks, builds a research facility outside of Hanstead, Nebraska the citizens of the small suburban town didn't have many complaints. However a few weeks after GreenWorks moved in, the dead bodies of small animals start turning up dead more often then before. There wasn't much reaction until the mutilated body of a girl in her mid-twenties appeared on the bank of the river that goes through the middle of the town. 

Rumors spread like wildfire of what killed the girl, especially in the local high school. One girl, Mai Jackson, heard these rumors but didn't think anything of them. That is until one night after a party in the woods she was attacked by a wolf-like creature with a tag in its ear that said "Property of GreenWorks: Science and Research Division"....
