Your character's entire life has been a dream. Modern society, technology, political figures, government, art, everything in our lives is a lie. A dream that you're character came up with after being in a accident of some kind. A car accident? Attempted suicide? Attempted Murder? Medical problems? A disease not heard of in your character's dream society (our real life society)? Or any other event your imagination can conjure.

They wake up with no memory before their dream. Our real life society is all they know and remember, except that society isn't real.

How to they cope to their new/real life? What is the true 2019/2020 like? What is the government like? A dictatorship? How do people dress and look? What body modifications, piercings and tattoos do people have? Do we all have an identification number tattooed on us? What are the names like? Is your character's best friend names Balloon, Chair or Chicken-Little? How has language evolved? Do all continents speak one language? Have the continents drifted back into one supercontinent? Are the tribes on the supercontinent at war? What is your characters family situation? Do people have families? Are all humans created in labs and assigned to a random person across the world?

So many questions your magnificent writing can answer.
