Huī yè and Dampa's relationship continues to grow and they are soon blessed with a son who they name Dorjee. Then fifteen years later Nima is blessed with his own child who he names Longwei. For ten years everything is perfect, until one day day when Dampa's brother returns home with blood pouring from a deep cut on the left side of his head. By morning it was all healed, however, Nima began to act strange. The children heard him muttering, "The time of the gods is over."
When they informed Dampa he started to worry that something had happened to his dear brother's brain. He needed to get him to a Healer, as quickly as possible.
Out of the blue Nima began to fight with his brother, all the time shouting, "There is nothing wrong with me."
Before Dampa could stop him, his brother dives out of the cave and disappear in to the low cloud.
"Dorjee, take Longwei and go to your fathers."
"Mother, I am not leaving you," sobs the young Dragon.
Dampa gives him a hug and explains, "Your uncle is sick. You saw what happened. I do not want either of you to get injured. Please go before he returns."
With tears in his eyes, Dorjee picks up his cousin and trots over to the mouth of the cave just as his uncle returns.
"Children, where do you think you are going?" he asks, pushing them back inside.
"Just out to the valley," answers Dorjee, holding Longwei close.
Nima holds out a flask and queries, "Would you not stay and try this lovely drink I have made?"
"We can try it later uncle," demands Dampa's son, stepping around his uncle.
Nima pulls out the stopper, a foul smell begins to fill the cave. "Drink this and you can come with me into Other Realm."
"Brother, what you saying?" Dampa asks, placing himself in front of the children.
"We are no longer needed in this world," utters Nima, offering him the flask to him. "The mortals can live without us. Join me brother in the Other Realm."
Dampa quickly pushes the boys over to the entrance and tells them, "Go, go and play."
The children nod and Dorjee dives out.
Suddenly Nima dives at his brother knocking him to the ground and forces his mouth open so he can pour in the foul smelling down his throat.
"Drink it brother and come with me into the Other Realm," he demands.
Dampa's abilities send him fly across the cave, he rolls onto his side to spit out the blood coloured liquid and watches his brother struggle to his knees. He picks up the flak and proceeds to drink the remaining liquid.
Than both of them start to cry out in pain as the poison starts to burn their internal organs. A chrysalis starts to form around their bodies and they fall asleep.
Once Dorjee has dropped his cousin at his fathers he returns home and drops to his knees in shock. He crawls over to his mother, now encased in a semi transparent shell and stares at it with tears rolling down his face. Then he notices his mother's intense pain expression begins to subside and her fits start to unfold. When he hears her take a breath, Dorjee goes and gets help.
Xuě yuèliàng can barely understand the young Snow Dragon's plea for help, after he gets him to calm down and go over the situation, he portals to the island of the White Dragons. Bīng féng is happy to help rescue his dear friend from her icy home. They go on to collect Dorjee and make their way to the Frozen Mountains.
The Healer confirms Xuě méigu is alive, she is just in a deep sleep whilst her body heals. Nima on the other hand is dead, Xuě yuèliàng discovers he was suffering with a bleeding on the brain.
"Oh that explains his strange behaviour," he says, hovering his hand over the surface of the chrysalis. "That blow is on the side where you can receive and project mind voices, is damaged. I am afraid I would not have been able to help him. Come, let's get your mother somewhere warm and safe."
Dorjee nods and watches the White Dragon's large left claw enter the cave. It is careful not to grip the chrysalis to hard as he lifts it out.
The Healer jumps on to back of it and together they fly to Huī yè's who is devastated to see what has happened to his dear love, who remains asleep for a hundred years.
Slowly over time the story of the stones becomes nothing more than a myth and the only mortals who keep the legend alive are the fortune tellers, who will one day see of one of the cursed stones has resurface.323Please respect copyright.PENANAPxx3ZGWBcO
