When 16-year-old Lyvvia's parents are killed, she was thrown into an abusive environment with her aunt. It was tough to live with the grief of her parents' death, being abused, and trying to take care of her two-year-old brother (while trying to keep him out of the mess that was her life). 

When she meets Kyrie at school, some thin rays of happiness shine to her. But when they get to close, they are both put in danger. Lyvvia sees Kyrie for what she truly is and, like it or not, she is forced to stay with Kyrie and possibly fight against some enemies.
