Camp Crystal Lake is cursed. 

After the drowning of Jason Voorhees in 1957, and the deaths of two young camp counsellors, Steve Christy re-opens it despite all of the stories of arson, and curses, and hires several teenagers, as his girlfriend, Alice Hardy, the California artist, and Assistant Camp Counsellor, struggles to survive, when she's confronted with a killer seeking revenge.
