I open my eyes and look around. I turn over and try sitting up. I moan and lie back down. Suddenly, I see someone move in the shadows.
"Huh? Wh-who's there? Hello?" I try sitting up again.
"Oh, dear. You look awfully weak." I see someone get up and walk over. He sets something on the table and leans down. "Ah, you're awake. Come on. Up you go." He helps me up off the floor and into a chair. I look at him, puzzled. He smiles.
"Who are y-you?" I squint in the bright light.
"Well, you should know that." He smiles again.
Suddenly, I remember. I point at him. "Y-you came back f-from the dead. Y-you're C-count Dracula. Y-you drank my blood at the f-funeral home. Y-you—"
He lays a finger on my lips. "Ah, hush. Quiet now." He turns away and picks up what I was lying on. He walks around and drapes it over me. He clasps the cape on me and picks me up like a bride. He walks along the table and to the stairs. He goes up the stairs.
"What are you doing?"
He stops. Looks down at me. "I'm taking you to a bedroom. So you have a more comfortable place to sleep."
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"Well, you happened to be the only one right there. And I was quite hungry." He smiles down at me. "Also, I do need at least one bride."
"Bride? I don't want to be your bride! I'm not—Ah!" I reach up and grab his neck.
"Whoa, there. Careful. Don't want you to fall and hurt yourself. You are already awfully weak."
"Only because of you!"
Suddenly, I feel him opening a door and he walks into a dark room. He sets me on a bed and goes over to the fireplace. He puts fresh wood on the already burned coals. He starts a new fire and closes the door. He lights a few candles and sets them around the room. Then, he comes over to the bed and carefully pulls away the blanket. He covers me up and sits down. He slips off his shoes and takes off his top shirt. Then, he stands up and takes off his other shirt. He lets it fall to the floor and turns around. I look away and he chuckles. He pulls away the blanket and gets in the bed.
Once in the bed, he pulls me close and takes off the cape. He slides it out from under the blanket and lets it fall to the floor. Then, I feel his hands on my waist. I feel them slip under my shirt and he pulls my shirt off. He throws it on the floor and pulls the blanket closer. Then, he wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer. I moan. He smiles and pulls me into a kiss. He lets go and I kiss him back. Next thing I know, I'm having romance with a centuries old vampire I thought I'd never even meet.
He flips me over with him on top of me. He starts kissing my neck and I pull him closer. Suddenly, I feel his hands move to my waist. I feel him unbutton my pants and I realize what he's doing.
"No, no. Please, no."
He stops kissing my neck and looks at me. He smiles. "Ah, come on. You'll be my only chance. I have a feeling I'll get a child from you. But, at the same time, I doubt I will."
I sigh. "But my mom. She—"
"I don't care about your mom, dear. All I care about is a child, really."
"I'd rather be an older sister of your child than the mother of your child."
"Ah, no. I'm not doing this with your mom. I know how you feel about me. I drank your blood, remember. Also, I felt you kissing me at the funeral home. I wanted to pull you closer, but I didn't want to startle you like that."
I sigh. "Fine. But I'm not staying here."
"Ah, alright." He smiles. "First time?"
I nod. "Yes," I say quietly.
"Ah, I see. How old are you?"
"Seventeen."
"Ha. This is a first."242Please respect copyright.PENANA9I3zdlwHsd
I yawn. "What time is it?"
"It is about 11:30 at night. On the 14th of February in the year of 2031."
I moan.
"Ah. That means today is Valentine's Day. What a coincidence."
I roll my eyes and sigh. "Oh, gosh."242Please respect copyright.PENANAUAXT9waypF
