When a new supervillain causes chaos in their city, a group of superheroes work together in hopes to stop them. They weren’t expecting the villain to be the Angel of Death, one of the most powerful and so-far undefeated villains of their time. Even then, they went on with their job, hoping to protect their city. 

Instead they find themselves sitting outside the mayor's office, hearing their new adoptive mother screaming at the mayor about child labor laws.
