Liam is a happy, albeit poor, man living in the coastal town of Blueport. He's friends with everyone. One day he encounters a rather large individual, the sea witch Aldur, injured and washed up on the beach.

Liam tends to his wounds and helps Aldur back to the sea, earning the reclusive being's trust through a series of kind acts over the course of a few months. Their friendship builds, maybe even to something more..?
