You are going to write a story based on a colour you like.

So you can pick the genre using your favourite colour, or make the colour something important in your story.

Like, if your favourite colour is red, then write some romance.

Or if your favourite colour is black, you can write something about sorrow or perhaps a thriller.

Example for the second option:

If it's blue then write about the sea. The sea is definitely not a genre.

And don't worry, if you don't know what to write about your favourite colour, just write about your second favourite (or maybe the third).
