This is a story about a junior in high school named Lilah, going through getting played, PTSD from her ex's new girlfriend, and a betrayal from not only the guy she was talking to, but her best friend too! But, what she doesn't notice is that one of her close guy-friends has been falling for her, for like FOREVER! He has noticed all that she has gone through, will he be able to help her, no matter what misunderstandings and miscommunications take place? Or will it just ruin their friendship? Find out soon! I got inspiration to write this book after a huge season of writer's block, and some of the characters (Ok...I'll be honest, most of them. Haha) are mixes of people in my life, the good, and the bad experiences I have had. I have obviously changed names, but most of the characters were inspired by the people I love most in my life. So thank you for inspiring me. <3
