This is a collection of the poems I’ve written over the years. They’re about my journey towards becoming a better person and fighting for universal equality and solidarity and true collective liberation for all the people of the world.

"You saved me from a world I did not belong to, a world I didn't want. You became my world. My everything. So for you I wrote this symphony of sounds. Follow your dreams, my love. Find your Serenity."

Rena lost her mother at the age of 5 and was left in the care of a guardian who wanted nothing to do with her. Lost and alone, she began to lose hope. Her world was gray until a pair of emerald green eyes ignited the rainbow once again. A childhood spent together, blossoming the seeds of love, only to be torn apart. He chose to leave to protect her, but at what cost? Will it cost him her love or will she hold on to hope of his return?

A/N - This is the "afterward" or true story of Rena Reyes from my crossover story. This is her past and what was meant to happen instead of meeting the Guardians.

"Don't go through the indigo door. It leads to a horrible world!"

"Even more horrible than the world i am currently living in?" I thought.

"Marsy... Marswimmer Toriwave! Ocean to Marsy!"

"Huh? Oh sorry mum. I wasn't focused."

"Clearly... Did you hear what I said?"

"Yes I did. No going through the door. Horrible world... And so on, so forth."

"Now remember, who am  I?"

"The Mermaid queen, Athena Toriwave. Why did I have to rehearse that?"

"So that you remember that I am Queen and you are the Princess of Mermaids! We have a reputation to uphold... My reputation!"

I knew that I'd break that rule... But didn't know that I'd hurt my mum in the worst way possible...
