After walking through the area where Toriel was supposed to guide him, he witnessed a few buttons, a switch, and a door. "Hmm..so a bit of a puzzle huh?" he asked and went over to the sign.
Brave ones, foolish ones...both not walk the middle road.
"Yeah, apparently our ancestors thought it to be creative or something and it became this terrible tradition." Flowey said and then noticed how he turned to the buttons. "Well, it doesn't say we have a specific amount of tries. Either we do the outskirts buttons, or the middle buttons. But that's what I'm getting from this puzzle so far." he said and walked over the buttons as Flowey continued to chat.
"Sooo~ You know what LOVE here really is? It's not that stupid lovey dovey crap! But I bet you knew that already!" he said with an evil grin, though overall the human was unphased. "No I don't know, but I bet your eager to tell me. Why? I have no idea yet." he said and looked at the flower who was sitting in his unoccupied hoodie. "Well my dear pal, LOVE is Level Of ViolencE. Meaning-" "The act of hurting, I know. So when you were doing your little speech, you saw my LOVE was higher than it should be then." he said and flipped the switch, the buttons reset and he tried again. He walked over the middle buttons then flipped the switch, the door opening.
"How curious." he muttered and Flowey agreed. "So you must've killed before? The act of spilling blood onto your hands? Maybe it was mandatory, maybe you had no choice, orrr! Maybe it was for fun!" he said, his evil grin widening with unbridled delight. "And which do you think it is Flowey?" he asked, not answering any of those as they walked through and came across some sort widened area. There, he saw it. A light only he could see by the looks of it, but Flowey looked most pleased that he was staring at something that wasn't really there.
"Oh? So your more determined than Frisk? Maybe that's why you managed to do more than her, she would've just died and came back repeatedly! But you, you somehow made some sort of...force field!" he said cheerfully, he had to admit this human was interesting and certainly unpredictable, both exactly what he needed for a good bunch of fun. "I think, maybe...you did it once, for no reason and couldn't get why you enjoyed it, another for defense, and it's been apart of you since! L i k e m e !" he said and then laughed.
"So then. Knowing this, knowing I am someone who's killed before, rather on purpose or not, you feel safe to be with me?" the human asked as he reached out his hand to grasp the light. "Well, two killers gotta stick together, am I right?" he asked, giving a little cute winky face again. The human hadn't answered, reaching his hand out and touching the save. But it felt as if, there was something looming over him. He looked back, but nothing was there, he brushed his black locks from his eyes, looking directly into Flowey's eyes. "Some killers...don't like to team up. But there are some, who are more willing to be with someone rather than be alone." he said to Flowey and then he went up the stairs.
"Have you..ever met one of those types?" he asked Flowey, who now went silent before he spoke. "No.." he said, though he had no recollection of the Genocide Route where he was killed by Chara. But for some reason, when this human brought it up, he gained shivers, recalling being hit over...and over again. This human was certainly different than Frisk. "Well, you're wrong. I bet you met both of them but. You just don't know it yet." he replied and then arrived in some sort of training area where a dummy was.
"Well, since Toriel isn't here, guess I better give you the basics. Monsters are everywhere, that dummy is one too, now when you kill a monster they turn to dust-" "You're assuming I will enter a murder spree. Though I'm sure that sounds perfect to you, as a human, you are on that checklist of monsters to kill, because your saying "Kill or be Killed", and well that does apply to you especially if I don't want to be killed." he stated, and then jerked when he entered a FIGHT with the dummy.
"I guess..you're not wrong about that..." Flowey mumbled then huffed. "Then spare everything that comes your way." he said and then the human said nothing for a long moment. "I wouldn't say I'm doing that either, but I haven't decided yet. Some monsters are worth sparing, some aren't. When I find one that isn't, then I'll be sure to let you know. I'm just...not gonna get out of one bloodshed to enter another. It's why you don't see my LOVE is at it's maximum." he stated and then chatted with the Dummy, seeing how it was the best option, but the dummy seemed to have enough conversation for the day.
"That was...strange." he admitted and then spared the Dummy, then turned and kept walking, furrowing his eyebrows in thought. "Did someone fall down before me? It seems that Dummy didn't want to speak to me because something from another conversation was on his mind." he said and Flowey muttered how he could put it like that before answering. "Yeah, Frisk. Boy do you have a lot of stuff to catch up on!" he said, snickering and the human felt Flowey was right but even he was behind. "...I think I do. Glad I got a guide, open ears, and a bunch of time to waste to catch up then. I'm listening Flowey." he said and Flowey looked pleased to have so much attention on him.
However...when he saved, he didn't see something about Determination. The words still remained in his head.
Walking the Middle Road is a dangerous path, Neutral over Pacifist or Genocide is equally dangerous. Fighting is not right, but sparing isn't the best you can do. DEFEND who you can, you're this kind's hope...110Please respect copyright.PENANAbOc7VlFI7m
