Fifteen year-old Akane practiced alone on the rooftops, swinging her halberd in various ways and imagining that there was an actual enemy in front of her. She imagined herself in the middle of a battlefield, horseriders swarming around her. Akane used the hook at the back of her halberd to hook onto an imaginary enemy on a horse, pulling him off and slamming him unto the ground, then she stabbed him. She continued this routine a few more times, not hesitating once. All of a sudden, she felt a sharp pain in her ribs, making her let go of her halbered which fell on the floor with a clatter as she clutched that particular side of her rib.
"Kuso," Akane muttered, using her halberd as a support to push herself back up, "I'm not strong enough to even fight properly."
Since she was a child, Akane had a strong body (though at the moment she is exhausted like anything). She could lift a knife at the age of two, which, to her, was pathetic. Akane trained day and night, sometimes even collapsing of exhaustion, in order to become even stronger.
She was a world famous singer and fighter who could use all sorts of weapons. Many people aspired to be like her, thoigh many of them die trying. Some tried to copy her morning routine and ended up throwing up after, some tried to find out her secret but failed as there was no secret to how she could do all that — it was practice.
Akane lost her parents because of a car crash they had got into right after she was born. She was the only one who made out alive, though bore a scar that looked like a blade cut across her cheek. A wealthy Japanese couple adopted her and gave her her name — Akane. Naturally, she was exposed to all sorts of anime, and soon became succumbed to weapons of all sorts. Her foster parents had no idea that Akane had a halberd that could turn into a silver teardrop earring, as they always saw it as a teardrop earring and not as a halberd. She had actually gotten the silver teardrop earring when she was born, and always wore it wherever she went. As she was migrating to Paris, France, for her studies in music and arts, Akane had to wait before she could practice with her halberd any longer. Her foster parents had bought her a humongous house which was bigger than Gabriel Agreste's — the famous fashion designer's — house.
"Akane! Time to go!" Akane heard her foster mother call from below.
Akane heaved a sigh and carried her halberd down to the balcony, turning it into the earring and hooking it on her ear. She pulled on a mask and grabbed her luggage, carrying it down the stairs easily. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, Akane saw her foster parents patiently waiting for her.
"Lets go," her foster father said, ushering her into their limo.
When they reached the airport, Akane waved goodbye to her foster parents and waited for her plane.
"Akane, is that you?"
Akane spun round to see her childhood friend, Koga, running towards her. Before she could react, he gave her a big bear hug, wrapping her in his lean but muscular arms. Akane's eyes widened, but she returned his hug anyway.
"Nice to see you again, Koga-kun," Akane whispered, patting him on the back.
"Nice to see you too," Koga said, smiling, "going to France already?"
Akane sighed and nodded, "Yeah. What are you doing here though?"
"I'm going to New York to meet a few old friends," Koga explained, sighing, "The flight's long as hell, though."
"It is," Akane agreed. Just then, she heard the announcement for her plane that was ready for boarding, and waved goodbye to Koga.

People screamed and bags flew around Akane as she held on tightly to her seat. The plane's motor had busted for some mysterious reason and now everyone in the plane was plummeling to their deaths. Suddenly, the plane stopped midair and everyone looked stunned, even Akane. She looked out the window to see a blonde boy wearing a black catsuit and eye mask with a bell at the base of his neck holding the plane steady, slowly lowering it onto the ground. She found him strikingly familiar, but why she did not know. Next to him was a girl with dark blue hair tied into twin ponytails and bluebell eyes wearing a ladybug suit similar to the boy's.
"It's Ladybug and Chat Noir!" someone exclaimed, screaming in delight. Akane flinched — her ears were highly sensetive.
Ladybug and Chat Noir?
When the plane was back on the ground, everyone evacuated and the two teenagers checked if everyone was okay. When they came to Akane, they were stunned.
"Wait — are you Akane Takahashi?!" Ladybug asked in shock.
Akane slowly nodded once, unsure of what to do.
"Wait — you're the Akane Takahashi?!" Chat Noir exclaimed, "could we take a selfie please?!"
"Um, sure," Akane said with an awkward smile. As soon as she said that, the two teens pulled her in for a selfie, making everyone around her shocked.

"I can't believe it's her..." Adrien said dreamily, staring at the selfie he had taken only moments ago.
Plagg heaved a sigh at him, "Adrien, for the last time, she is a fighter. Even with your miraculous she could kill you in a punch. She is more powerful than the Kwami of Reality."
Adrien gave him a look, "How would you know?"
"Because I have seen her in her fights in real life, Adrien," Plagg said in an impatient tone, "I have met her. I wouldn't dreamily think of her if I were you."
Adrien rolled his eyes, "Plagg, I admire her for her skill and stength, okay? She's really pretty and cool, who wouldn't like her?"
"Forget it," Plagg grumbled, flying onto the bed and yawning.

Akane sat alone in her room, humming a tune to herself as she spun the blade in her hand. She had just reached her house and was extremely bored, so she started humming her favourite songs to entertain herself.
Then she noticed a strange box on her table. After studying it for a while, she slowly opened it and peeked in.
There was a bright flash.
