Adrien sat with Nino, Alya, and Marinette at lunch, staring at Akane who was sleeping whilst standing in a corner. He found her oddly familiar, though could not tell when he had seen her. It was something about how she acted, how she looked, that made him think that he had seen her before. Well, yes, he had a gigantic crush on her despite not knowing what she actually looked like, but he kept on thinking about her since yesterday when he saw her as Chat Noir. Plagg seemed to know what was going on, but kept quiet about it. Whatever it was, Adrien knew that it was connected between the miraculouses, but how he might have to ask Ladybug.
"Adrien, are you okay?" Alya asked him, snapping him out of his trance, "You've been as still as a stone for the past ten minutes."
"Oh, um, just thinking about something," Adrien said with a smile, chuckling awkwardly, "I... I need to go to the bathroom. See you later."
With that, he walked away, then caught Akane looking straight at him.
It wasn't obvious, but she was staring at him. When she caught him looking, she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
Strange.
It was as though they were thinking the same thing.
They recognised each other.
Akane seemed to have found something out, which was probably why she was so quiet throughout the entire class. There was a connection between them, though Akane probably wanted Adrien to find out on his own.
"Hey, what's your problem with everyone?"
Adrien turned around to see Chloe and Lila cornering Akane, who looked unbothered. She leaned against the wall, eyebrows raised. He sighed, of course the both of them would try and bully her.
"What's your problem with me?" She countered, closing her eyes.
Chloe gritted her teeth, "I don't care who you are! You shall not disrespect the mayor's daughter! I'm calling daddy!"
"Oh? You're the mayor's daughter?" Akane said, chuckling coldly as she stopped leaning against the wall, "I didn't realise."
"Are you picking a fight?" Lila snarled, walking closer to Akane.
Akane smirked, "Heh, maybe."
Bam.
"Ahhhh!!!"
Lila was crying on the floor, her head and nose bleeding. Akane's left hand was covered in blood, her bloodstained panjas bracelet shining in the sunlight.
"This is why you should never pick a fight with a professional," Akane said coolly, adjusting her bracelet.
Everyone stared at her, jaws wide open. Adrien, on the other hand, was not surprised for some reason, but instead felt happy. He had no idea why he was feeling this way, though perhaps he really did, as the heart never lies.
"Akane! What are you doing?!" Alya screamed, rushing towards Lila, "someone call the nurse!"
Akane slowly walked towards Lila and grabbed her collar, making everyone gasp. She whispered something in her ear, but whatever it was, it frightened Lila so much that she went pale as a ghost. Akane then tossed Lila (somehow) to the side and walked away, leaving everyone speechless.
Well, that escalated quickly.

Akane heaved a sigh, leaning against the shelf as she stared at her bloodied hand. She had fled to the library and was hiding in a corner. Guen flies out of her bag, looking hungry.
"Hungry, eh?" Akane mumbled, stroking Guen's soft fur.
"Yeah, do you mind me licking off the blood on your hand?" Guen asks with a longing look at the blood.
"I thought demons drink blood?" Akane said, raising an eyebrow as Guen astarted licking off the blood.
"Nope. Not for me," Guen told her, "Yurigo and I have mixed tastes and stuff because we are one."
"Yurigo?" Akane noted, "the Demon miraculous' kwami?"
"Yeah," Guen said, wiping the blood off her mouth.
"Interesting," Akane muttered,
Just then, she felt a sharp pain in her chest. Akane gasped in shock and clutched her chest, breathing heavily. Guen gasped and flew to her side, looking worried. Akane gritted her teeth, supporting herself against the shelf.
"Akane!"
Akane slowly turned around to see Adrien panting, running towards her as she collapsed to her knees. The last thing she saw was a flash if blue in Adrien's eyes before everything went black.
