Wooyoung pulled back and looked at Hongjoong in alarm. “Hyung, why are you crying?” he asked. Hongjoong just smiled. “I love you, Wooyoung,” he said then pulled him into another hug. Wooyoung pulled back from it after a few seconds and kissed Hongjoong on the cheek. “Thanks, hyung,” he whispered. Hongjoong took a step back, clearly not pleased, but not as upset as he usually got over something like that. Wooyoung smiled softly. Seonghwa leaned forward. “Hyung, why didn’t you tell us?”
“Well….” Wooyoung paused. “I guess I thought it would be kinda embarrassing and awkward to say I had a girlfriend, and then by the time it actually became a problem, I knew you guys would hate me for keeping it a secret.”
The members had a lot to say about that.
“No!”
“You can trust us!”
“It’ll kill you to keep that to yourself!”
”Hyung, don’t cry again!”
This last one came from Jongho, who wrapped his arms around Jongho. Seonghwa went to the other side, and they both hugged him. Wooyoung laughed through his tears, then sobered instantly. “I really am sorry, though. San hyung?”
“Hm?”
“Did Jongho really scream?”
“Oh, yeah. He screamed when you passed out and then bawled his eyes out,” said San
Wooyoung turned to Jongho and hugged him tightly. “Sorry, hyung,” he whispered.
“It’s ok,” replied Jongho. “Just… don’t ever really kill yourself, ok? And also, next time you get a girlfriend, tell us.”
Wooyoung half laughed. “I don’t think I’m gonna get another girlfriend anytime soon,” he reminded Jongho.
“All the better,” his friend replied. “Now, I think we should probably let you rest. You haven’t slept in like a week, remember?”
”Mm,” Wooyoung said, realizing how tired he was. His eyes started to close before the other members even left the room. He heard faint whispers, before all the members said together, “We love you, Wooyoung!” He felt a smile tug at his lips before he finally fell asleep.
