Hello to whoever's reading. It's me, your favorite author. Okay, probably not. Mine's probably Holly Jackson actually.
Point is, I'm here to give you an update on the story. I type things out all over the place, and I forget where I put them. Even though I know EXACTLY where I put my next two chapters, Ti and V, it's all scattered into scenes. That's the worst thing ever! But you know what's worse?
Missing a day of writing for such a silly reason! I'd go write my star wars anthology but I have declared it on break. I wanna finish my 118 elements first, you know? It's a tall order and I've got 95 chapters to do but I'm doing it over the course of 2025 too.
I'll get Ti and V in tomorrow, maybe with Mn as well, which involves new characters!!
Anyway, that's it for my update. Now for the OC creation guide.

Soo I have a list of elements and personalities I'd assign to them. I used this mental list to give 20 of my classmates / teachers elements. I'm doing the first 20, plus a few others which I referenced in the main story often.
**
FIRST 20
H : A bit dual-natured. I showcased this in a teacher who has crazy mood swings. Hard to put down in one personality type
He: A very chill person, preferably a tenor, who's also shy. This is one of my best friends.
Li: Full of energy.
Be: elegant, gives green vibes. This is my English teacher, who always dresses up a lot.
B: A boring person. Also a teacher, whose sleepy class inspired the whole class to pull a prank on none other than Ms. Beryllium (the teacher I assigned Be to) and we all faked being asleep when she entered.
(sorry, sir...)
C: everything, everywhere, all at once. This is a classmate of mine who does ten million extra curriculars, and basically has it MADE. Though he is depressed all the time and everyone knows this.
N: Everywhere you see, they're there, and they try to maintain the peace. Like how the element dilutes the oxygen in the air from setting everything on fire. This is the high school coordinator,
O: A bit fiery, but has a calming presence.
F: Really active and really smart.
Ne: They seem silent but like in neon signs, they have the potential to light things up.
Na: tends to be a bit salty all the time.
Mg: Pretty chill, not much else to it.
Al: very handy person. This person is the teacher's pet who always runs to the staff room to get the teacher her water bottle or turns the projector on.
Si: a techie, into robotics or circuits.
P: This I didn't put much thought into, simply using an inside joke to assign to someone. Please don't ask. It's an INSIDE joke.
S: very angry all the time
Cl: toxic person
Ar: quiet observer but tends to be a bit judgemental
K: explosive personality.
Ca: physically very strong, bonus points of they love dairy.
**
OTHERS:
Fe: a strong person, reacts well with people but can get rusty.
Co: gives blue vibes, has a good navigation, also magnetic.
Ni: not too different. But they should say, "If I had a nickel for..."
Au, Ag, Pt: attractive, rich, great life.
Radioactive elements: Their lives are messed up and they tend to break easily.
Halogens: See F, Cl
Noble gases: See He, Ne, Ar
Alkali metals: See Li, Na, K
Lanthanides and actinides: Always a bit outcasted.
