The road stretching on forever

Her breath now coming in pants 

Her hot tears pouring down her face

The only warmth she has,

As the freezing wind bites her cheeks

She stumbles once

Twice 

Falling to her knees

Cars wizz by her

The sounds making her flinch 

Time and time again 

Her cold body

Shivering and jumping as each car passes

She lays

On the unforgiving ground

The warmth draining from her body

Into the freezing snow

Her slight shivering frame,

Broken

Her mind breaking

As she lays alone

People walking away,

Watching her as they pass,

Not helping

She cries harder 

Slowly breaking even more

Her warmth fading

As she is lost to her mind
