"Where are you taking me?"
The woman asked in a shaky voice after realizing almost instantly that there was not a single button on the panel as the elevator closed its doors and started to ascend automatically and slowly.
"I thought you are trying to go home, am I correct, lady?"
And the elevator did respond, wow.
Surprisingly it sounded like a gentlemen, though she never knew that an elevator could ever sound like a human, or even understand her words.
"Ugh, yes?"she hesitated, fingers clutching her thighs unconsciously,"But how do you know which floor it is?"
"As far as I remember, you have already been one of the tenants here for a few years,"after a moment of silence, the elevator added, "does this answer your question, lady?"
"Well...yeah."well, she really didn't know nowadays elevators had this function. But then, she didn't know they could speak, god technology gone insane. "What are----"you?
The question was cut in by the bing! sound indicating the end of this journey, as well as this conversation.
She waited a few seconds while there was not a single word spitting out by an electronic male voice. Alright. Apparently the elevator had took off at the moment she took off.
But she was already excited about the next journey.
