He saw a bright light, and he suddenly became very cold. His head throbbed and he could hear the blood rushing through his body. He stood, his silver hair falling over his icy blue eyes.
Albrecht felt different, and he certainly did not know how he ended up on Bekaav, or how much time had passed since he fell asleep. He looked around him, patting his body up and down, and wondered why he felt so sore. The bullet wound between his fading dead eyes he was unaware of was gone and lightly scarred over.
Before he could trudge ahead through the snow, a black mist came down in front of him from the grey, snowy skies. He narrowed his eyes, and huffed, recognizing the woman's face that had emerged from the mist.
"Valentine?" He asked, taking a step towards her, "Where... where are we? Weren't we just on Lunestica? What about the war with the islands?" He was clueless and the woman found this amusing. She dropped down from her smokey vessel, her blonde waves blowing behind her from the blizzard and her deformed silver eyes piercing him.
"Don't you remember, Albrecht?" She asked after a cackle. His face grew pale, "We made an agreement—I did all the work for you... rather, used you to do work for me," Albrecht's brow knitted into a look of confusion.
"W-What agreement?" He stammered, coming closer, "I asked for help since you knew what to do better than Lunabelle. We never made any agreement!" She gave a twisted and evil smile and backed away from him. "Valentine! What did you do?!"
"You made an agreement when you came to my domain and spoke my name. No one just comes for a chat, you know. I knew everything about you as soon as you landed on this god-forsaken planet, which gave me the ultimate advantage," Albrecht was not having her nonsense. He stamped his foot and growled.
"What the hell did you do?!" He reiterated, growing more impatient by the minute. Valentine scoffed.
"Not help you—but I used you as a vessel to help me," She circled him, playing with some black energy in her fingertips. "And you fell right into my trap—you longed to make my dear, dear baby sister happy... but you seemed to have forgotten that I hate her!" She flicked the magic at him, and he brushed the dust off. His face was flushed a deep cerulean with confusion. "For the past five-hundred years, I have been possessing you and using you to make Marilynn's life hell, just so I could feel better about what my family did to me," Albrecht went to grab her, but she vanished and showed up behind him.
"What? Five-hundred years? You've been in my head for five hundred years?!" Valentine chuckled and came close to Albrecht. She flicked him in the forehead and a high-pitched ring filled his ears. His breath hitched.
"Seems you don't remember... I just jogged your memory,"
The past five hundred years flashed before Albrecht's eyes. An evil version of himself, controlled by this... monster!... had single-handedly ruined the lives of everyone he loved. He even saw his own death and recalled being revived by Valentine. Tears flowed down his cheeks uncontrollably, freezing as soon as they fell from his warm skin. Everything he worked hard for and loved was now beyond his reach.
"You'll pay for this, Valentine," Albrecht warned sourly, opening his eyes back up. To his dismay, she was gone.350Please respect copyright.PENANAffj2wOgA2W
