"Then...Let's all go to a party tonight"! Kayla squealed. "No thanks! I'm writing my own song tonight" I said smiling at Kayla. "Ugh, You always say that! Come on! Just one night"! Kayla responded. "No thanks! I really want to become a singer! It has been my dream since I was... 9"! I said.
"Come on Mei, have some fun for the first time in life girl"! Ava said. "I am having fun"! I said. "By writing songs every-night"? Mia responded. "Yeah! why"? I replied. "Mei, how exactly is that fun"? Kayla said. "What do you mean? Everybody finds a lot of different things fun, you know"? I said. "I know but, writing? Come on Mei, you're better than that"! Ava responded. "You know what. I'm just gonna go home alright? See ya'll tomorrow"!

I was humming a made up song and started walking home and then I saw a cat! It has black fur, green so cute! I started following the cat and then it noticed me. "Oh hey kitty, are you a feral"? I said. Then the cat just meowed. I petted the cat and it started purring. The cat stopped purring and walked away. "Hey...wait" I said. I noticed something purple was glowing and I went to check it out because I was curious.
"What the...HECK"? I shouted. I was seeing a purple portal out of nowhere. Then the cat started walking into the portal. "hey...HEY"! I shouted chasing the cat. I tried to grab the cat I didn't and fell into the portal.
I opened my eyes and saw...SPACE? But I was able to breathe unless this isn't space. I noticed I floating then I felt weird. I started feeling dizzy. I noticed the black cat was running on air? It looked at me and then I woke up. "Hello? Are you alright kid"? a person said with...wolf or cat ears?
"What the...am I seeing things"? I asked. I rubbed my eyes and opened my eyes again. Turns out I'm not. "It isn't Halloween, you know"? I said. "What's is Halloween"? They replied. What? Are they serious? "You...don't know"? I asked. They looked at me confused. "It's...never mind. Why are you wearing cat ears"? I asked. "Wearing"? They said.
"I'm not wearing ears"? They said. "But...You have cat wears"? I responded. "Hmm... Are you perhaps from another universe kid"? They asked. "Another...What are you talking about"? I was so confused. "Oh....You are then aren't you"? "Well...welcome to our universe! If you still don't understand, you're in another universe" they said. "WHAT? Oh I'm dreaming a-aren't I"? I said.
"What??? No" They replied. I was shocked. "No wonder why this feels way too real..." I responded. "Of course. I'm Suzuki Kokomi by the way"! Kokomi said. "Call me Kokomi"
"Isn't that...a girl's name? They made a face looks like "Are you serious" face. "Sigh, I know. Everyone says that. Just ignore that alright"? Kokomi said. "Alright then"! I responded. Kokomi appearance is different. They have white fluffy hair that almost overs his face, long cat ears, fluffy white tail that is also long, and They are wearing a strange outfit.
"Kokomi, what exactly is this place"? I asked. "Humans are different here in fact, we're not exactly humans. "Some humans are part of a different being or have powers. You see some with powers are either strong or weak. Most are actually weak. Humans that are part of a another being can transform to that being. Like me for example, I'm part cat so I can transform into a cat.
"Oh, I see" I said. It made way more sense now. "Let's go over to my friends house and we can talk about this situation" Kokomi said. "Are you sure you aren't going to hurt me" I shouted. "What? No. I know how to get you home that's why" Kokomi responded. "Wait, REALLY"!? I yelled. "YES! Now stop shouting"! Kokomi said. "Oh right"! I replied.
