This is The First Sentence Challenge! How this works is I give you all the first sentence, which you must use as the first sentence in your entries. It is then up to you to write whatever you want. Whether it is a spooky story, a love story, anything! This contest will be open for entries for three weeks and only one entry per writer is accepted! I will be the sole judge for this contest, here is what I'm looking for:
- Characters that are relatable
- Story-lines that are creative
- Good plot twists that I personally wouldn't have seen coming
- Good use of correct spelling and grammar

There will be a first, second and third place entry. You are more than welcome to read and comment on other entries submitted. You may edit your entry up until the closing date.
