Jonah couldn't believe he let his mom rope him into volunteering as a camp counselor for the summer. This week's batch of overnighters were the worst he had seen yet. A bunch of running, screaming 6-year-olds that would threaten mutiny and murder if they weren't entertained. It was finally the last night, the night where everyone stayed up as late as they could in the main building, and he was on security cam detail, making sure none of the kids got into any fights. He kept on having to check on one kid, named James, who kept pulling pranks and scaring the other campers, defending himself by saying the same jokes he had done during the day didn't scare anyone, so why should he get in trouble just because it was dark?
Jonah sighed. James would probably prove to be the death of him. But it was just one more night. One more night of awful pranks and then James was gone and Jonah could plead with his mother to let him try to get a job at McDonald's. He checked the camera where James was sitting by the fooseball table. Jonah swallowed thickly. His inside girl, Samantha, was being interrogated by James. And he was being pretty menacing about it too.963Please respect copyright.PENANAFiGiY7WVC2
It looked like Jonah was going to have to go down there and deal with James personally. And just when I thought I'd be able to go through the night safely, he thought. This job only lead him to trouble.
