Hello, hello, everybody! A Dove's Tale has hit 1,000 views, which has me super excited, so I wanted to introduce myself to you lovely readers and tell you a little more about ADT. So, I've been writing for fun since I was 12, although I had a long dry spurt broken only last year because of migraines. Oddly enough, one of the few things I can do when I have a really bad migraine is write. Playing games on your phone and watching YouTube all the time can get pretty boring after a while, you know? But I had a story in my mind based on a game I'd been playing, and with a little encouragement from my counsellor, I finally sat down and started to write.
And write.
And write.
ADT was originally around 25 chapters long. I did a NaNoWriMo challenge to get the word count to...it was either 50,000 or 100,000 words. I don't remember. We're way past that at this point. Because I wrote the story based on Chevalier's story in the game, but I want to be true to all the characters, which means the more I read, the more I add. So...current version is based on Chev, Leon, Yves, Licht, Nokto, and Clavis, although I just finished Jin, so I might incorporate some of his later on in the story.
Yeah. It's super long. I'll have to split it up into a series later, but, since I still have Luke, Sariel, Rio, Silvio, Keith, and Gilbert to read, I don't think there's much point in splitting it up now. The main plot has remained the same throughout all my edits, but there have been some serious story changes, especially after reading Nokto and Clavis' stories in the game. Splitting it up now before I know what the story will actually look like when it's done makes no sense to me.
So...it's just a monster of a book.127Please respect copyright.PENANA6YXa0tQYIQ
Anyway, thanks for all the views, and I love feedback, so don't be shy to tell me what you think. :)
