Gracie had been barking all night, eventually prompting Sabrina out from the boat.
Sabrina had entered in a boat contest, similar to dog racing, but with boats. As far as Sabrina knew, they were closing in on the finish line.
Sabrina moaned, pushing her long hair out of her eyes, and trudged up the stairs. She looked around, but even if she was close to land, all she would see was water. Tonight, the thickest fog had appeared, slowing Sabrina’s progress when she wasn’t able to see anymore.
Gracie barked again, as if insisting that Sabrina’s attention was only on her.
Finally, Sabrina turned towards the small, brown pit bull. Gracie gave one final bark before pacing anxiously.
“Jeez, I’m up, alright? Happy? It’s two in the morning, leave me alone.” Sabrina yawned.
That was when she noticed the small knife on the deck, glinting in the dim moonlight. Sabrina slowly walked over to it and crouched to pick it up, her hand hesitating above the handle.
She reached down and picked it up, twirling the blade in her fingers as she examined it.
“FIRE!”
Sabrina screamed as the boat pitched violently, throwing her and Gracie overboard. The dark waters were freezing as Sabrina sunk into the waters. She frantically swam up in time to see chunks of her boat fly out in all directions. 676Please respect copyright.PENANAMyoonIlY24
Sabrina’s body froze in terror at the sight as she watched a massive ship emerge from the fog. The torn sails billowed in the wind, the ship looked like it belonged in a movie. 676Please respect copyright.PENANAOpFgNou34I
Only, this was very real. And the ship was heading straight for Sabrina.676Please respect copyright.PENANAQ3BDKXN1d9
