One of the things that hold our society is Gender Roles, yet we seem to be turning away from them, and their traditions that have kept us going since the early ages of mankind.
There is only two genders, male and female, and there are distinct differences between these genders. Each is made in such a way as to perform certain tasks. Men, with their more muscular build are meant to work hard labor jobs, or most other jobs on the work force, while it is still seen as acceptable for a woman to stay at home, raise a family, with her only focus being on her home and family. Women shouldn't be in a situation in which they have to do tedious, hard labor. Without gender roles, we would have women who want to run for president or play football, and men who want to participate in beauty pageants. We must preserve gender roles, because a family needs a mother and a father. We must abide by the norms of society.
