Everyone loves puppies. Fluffy, cute, they're everything you could ever ask for. But you can't just take them at face value.
First of all, puppies grow up, and a surprisingly large percentage of pet owners lose interest in their dogs once they have passed the puppy stage. This puts the dogs' lives to waste as they are only appreciated for the first two years of it's life.
Another reason why dogs should be banned is how so many owners don't take care of them. The amount of times I have seen owners ignore their dogs... It's uncountable. While the owner is chatting with a friend, texting or something else, the dog is vying for attention and has excreted on someone's lawn.
there are so many other reasons why dogs aren't worth the trouble, including that they cost so much. You pay for them and everything they need, and they repay you by - what? Peeing on the floor? Wasting your time?
To be honest, what are dogs for? If people want animal companions they should keep guinea pigs or cats or fish. If you want to go out for a walk, then just go out for a walk instead of thinking you need a dog to drag along with you.
there is no point. So don't waste your money on dogs. Their not worth the fuss.
(That really was hard. I love dogs so much and I think they are almost essential to a home. Sometimes I even think they're better than people.)
