Nica mumbled to herself, this is probably a bad idea, as she drove her black coupe inside the parking lot. She pulled into a space near the front entrance and flipped down the car mirror to check her face. She applied a red matte lipstick to her pouty mouth and lightly pressed her lips together. Nica smiled pleasingly at her appearance and smoothed her black hair until it fell in cascades over her shoulders. I can do it, I'll just walk up to the door, it's not a big deal. Then, she practically jumped out of the car, before she lost her nerve, and walked quickly towards the condos. She followed the sidewalk around to the stairs and climbed them to the 2nd floor. I think his door is the 3rd on the right, I hope he's home. Nica raised her hand to knock on the door but before she could knock the door opened. He was there standing in blue shorts and a white t-shirt holding two trash bags. "Shit!" he said, startled to see her there. "Hi!" Nica greeted him brightly almost shrill as the little time she had hoped for to prepare herself was gone. They stared at each other in silence a few seconds until he asked, "can I help you?" His face showing his confusion to see her on his doorstep. All of Nica's confidence drained out of her body and she replied quickly, "Um no, wrong door," and she turned and walked away. He shut the door and followed her. "Wait a minute," he called behind her. She stopped, feeling a bit of joy leap back into her as he approached her. She stood in the sunlight just before the stairs, he stepped into the light, his pale green eyes squinting. He smiled at her, his eyes telling his pretense, "Well, what do you know, I have a stalker." She replied with a laugh, "A stalker? "Why would I do that?" Well, "What are you doing here?" "I'm here to see you of course." A seedy grin spread across his face as he said. "Do you want to wait inside while I throw out the trash?" "Sure." He didn't wait for her answer and walked away. Nica's eyes went over him hungrily, his broad shoulders and long torso, his slightly bowed legs in his shorts. She shut the door and pulled out a heavy brushed nickel bar stool and sat at the kitchen bar. His TV was on a tech show and she watched it a few minutes while he was gone. When he returned he came into the kitchen and washed his hands, "Can I get you something to drink?" he asked. "No, I'm okay." The two were silent a few moments before he broke it, "how long has it been?" Nica chuckled, "I don't remember." But, she did know. He opened a long neck beer and leaned against the counter. "So, what brings you by?" He seemed to be searching her face for answers and Nica couldn't quite make out if he was glad to see her. She had been turning over the idea of stopping by for months ever since he stopped returning her texts after their date 3 months ago. She'd been rejected before but she was unable to shake this one off. "I just wanted to see you, it was an impulse really." she replied cooly. "Oh, that's unusual," he said and twisted his mouth down into a half frown. "Do you mind?" She asked. He looked her over and said flatly, "yeah, kind of." "Nica could feel herself shrinking, "I'm sorry, uh, I'll get going then." He sat his beer down and said, "you're here now, what's this is about?" Nica frowned at his cold curiosity. "I didn't mean to waste your time just thought I'd say hello." She stood up and made her way to the door. He followed her to the door, as she opened it she said, "I didn't mean to impose." "Ok." he said shortly and nodded as he closed the door behind her. Outside the door Nica felt all her hot confidence cooling like candle wax and quickly solidifying into shame. He probably thinks I'm nuts, she thought, as she walked back to her car. She closed the door, well that was a bust and started the engine and drove away.
The following Friday afternoon, Nica checked Dillon's Instagram while she pretended to work. She did this religiously from a fake account she created. She noticed a post about a party on his stories at a bar he was going to attend later. She felt this was another chance for her to be seen. Why didn't she think of this before, she thought, instead of showing up on his door like an idiot. She could make it look like coincidence, look stunning and see him again. She texted her friend Lauren, Nica's mind worked quickly to formulate a plan "hey doll, u up for drinks after work?" If she is, all I need to do is leave early and change. Lauren replied, "Hey sweetie! I'm definitely down for drinks, where you thinking?" Nica replied, "Meet me at Roberson Bar around 7." Lauren texted, "OK, will do."
Nica stood naked in her closet in front of a large rose gold framed mirror. What the fuck am I going to wear? She pulled down clothes and held them up to herself in the mirror. She was proud of her figure, how her waist line curved in and out again at the hips. Her breasts were her least favorite feature but that wasn't saying much because she felt her body was perfect. She decided on a white lace midriff top with a marigold high-waist flowing skirt with a high slit. A modest outfit would not work tonight. She speed showered, brushed her teeth and ran out of the door, leaving all of her products scattered across the bathroom counter. It had already been an hour and the bar was 25 mins away. "You still coming?" a text read as she circled the bar again looking for available parking. "Yep, I'm parking now." she texted back. The bar was crowded and her friend Lauren was seated at the bar already. She stood up and waved her over. Nica liked to go places with Lauren, not only was she tall and pretty, she was bold and always attracted attention. "Hi Babes!" she greeted Nica with a hug. "Wow, someone went home to change." "I did, I did". I looked pretty bad earlier." she smiled coyly at the recognition. "Well some of us can't leave our desks early." Lauren smiled and pushed her brown asymmetrical bob behind her ears. Her amber colored eyes were winged with wispy lashes. "I ordered you some drink called a casual Friday with rum. "Thanks, I need it!" Nica sat next to her on a bar stool and pushed her hair over her shoulders as she took a sip of her drink. "Mmm, this is good." She coolly scoped the room for Dillon whilst searching for guys to call over to talk to them. She planned for him to see her flirting by happenstance of course. She barely examined her mind as to why she cared so much about Dillon. She just knew there was a driving force to level the playing field. She didn't bother with the fact that she had no idea who Dillon was behind his cool exterior.
Lauren could always be counted on, "Ooo, there's a cutie who just came up the back steps." He was attractive, the hipster type, not Nica's type, but Lauren's. He glanced in their direction. Nica thougnt, Damn, but he's alone. Lauren followed him with her eyes as he made his way to the bar. "You gonna talk to him?" Nica asked. "Umm, not yet." she replied and sipped her drink. Dillon walked in a quarter to 8 with another guy. Nica's muscles tensed, ugh, he's too soon. She turned forward so he wouldn't notice her and he passed and made his way to the downstairs bar. She didn't mention it to Lauren. "How has work been?" Nica asked. She only pretended to listen to Lauren explain about her deadlines, her mind was preoccupied with her plan. She interrupted because she had spotted a group of four guys together standing at the bar. "Hey, do you think any of them are cute? "Um, where?" Lauren swiveled on her stool to look. "Yeah, the tall one with the dark hair and she immediately got off her stool and approached the group. "What are you gentlemen drinking this evening?" All eyes turned to her intrigued by her interruption. "Glenlivet," one of gentlemen said. "How about I buy you guys a round and you join me at the bar? "Sure." Nica laughed at how they all willingly followed Lauren and she quickly finished her drink. Lauren returned to her seat and faced the guys, "I'm Lauren and this is my friend Nica." The guys extended their hands in introductions. Justin was the one interested in Lauren. The group hung around making small talk with the girls for a while until two of them left for another bar. The other guy stuck around to talk to Nica. An hour had passed since they saw Dillon and Nica was worried. I hope he hasn't left the bar, she thought. "You guys feel like going downstairs?" she suggested. "Uh yeah if want," Lauren said, looking a little confused. "Okay, I'm going to stop by the restroom first and then we'll go." Nica went inside and applied a pink lipstick that popped against her warm chestnut skin. She smoothed her thick hair down and gave a confident little nod of satisfaction to herself in the mirror and left the bathroom. The group waited for her outside of the restroom and they all headed downstairs. Nica followed behind Lauren in a theatrical display of smiles and laughter for anyone who was watching. The lower level was jammed with people and they had to push through to a corner near a man and woman perched on two stools with acoustic guitars. Nica couldn't see through the crowd to look for Dillon. Well this was a good idea, he will never see me over here. She thought. She stood a few minutes with the group and then said, "I'm going to grab another drink, anyone want one?" "I'll take one, bring whatever you get." Lauren replied. Nica walked to the bar and scanned the room as best she could. She ordered two cocktails and looked around. She spotted Dillon at the other end of the bar. He was alone now his ball cap pulled low. He spotted Nica and his eyes traveled over her in recognition. Her first instinct was to turn away but she resisted and met his eyes a few seconds and then turned again to face the bar. The bartender sat down the drinks in front of her and she reached in her purse to dig for her card to pay for the drinks. He walked over to her. "Wow, twice in a week." Nica looked up. He was leaning in close to her. She handed the card over and replied dryly, "yeah, how bout that." She paid and picked up the drinks. He ignored her coldness, "Are you here with someone?" "Yeah there's a group of us over there." "Oh." he replied. "But you can come." He followed her as she made her way back to the group. As she passed the drink to Lauren she said, "everyone this is Dillon." They all greeted him. Lauren's eyes bucked for a second before she contained her expression. Nica took a sip of her drink and Dillon hung back a minute before he leaned in and said, "come up to the roof with me." He walked away and Nica mouthed to Lauren she'd be back and followed him. They took the stairs up to the rooftop bar which was less crowded. He found a table in a corner near the railing and pulled out a metal chair for her. She sat down and he dragged another chair beside her and sat close enough so that their legs touched. Nica took a large sip of her drink and asked, "So... what's up?" She tried to appear collected, a little aloof but her mind was racing. She crossed her legs, the slit of her skirt falling open exposing more of her smooth thighs. Dillon ran his hand quickly over his brown stubble beard and then asked her, "So tell me, why were you really at my condo?" She half smiled, "I told you already." "I see, he replied, "and it wasn't because we had one date and I just disappeared?" She stared into his face to get a sense of his mood and she noticed a playfulness in his expression. She relented, "Okay it was." Tell me what happened?" "Truthfully?" Dillon asked. "Yeah." "You were weird." he laughed. Nica furrowed her brow. "How?" "You acted like you weren't interested but asked to come home with me. Then you got all jumpy. You asked me if I was lying a lot. It was just weird." Nica grabbed her drink and tried to stuff her face inside the glass. "So you wanted to get laid and it didn't go your way?" she replied. "My way?" He frowned, "there wasn't much chemistry to begin with." "Ok got it." Nica stood up abruptly to leave. "Sit down please." He stared up at her with playful eyes obviously amused by her reaction. I have something else to ask." She obliged. " Why show up months later?" She took a long pause before she answered. "I don't know really. I guess I didn't like the way things ended. I wanted to see you again." He looked as if he was mulling something over. While he did, Nica leaned in as if to kiss him but stopped just before her lips touched his and looked at him, his gaze was soft and playful with full light brown lashes and a few light brown freckles beneath his eyes. His lips were pink with a deep cupid's bow. His jaw cut sharp lines into the sides of his face. He kissed her bottom lip first softly and then parted his lips sliding his tongue in her mouth. She leaned in more and he put his hands on her face. His mouth was sweet and tasted of bourbon. A thought to straddle him passed quickly through her mind but she pushed it away. There were two women seated behind him watched them carefully and Nica smiled smugly at them and sipped the last bit of her drink. Dillon sat back and said, " you have the sexiest mouth." Nica smiled but didn't reply. "You want another drink?" he asked. "Yeah sure." He stood up and walked to the bar. Nica pulled out her phone to see 6 texts from Lauren. "Wtf?" "Is that who I think it is?" "Where'd you go?" "U just abandoned me?" "Hello?" "Why aren't you answering me?" Nica texted back: "No, I'm good." "Yeah me too." "Yep it's Dillon. We're on the roof." " I'm going to hangout with him a bit and catch up with you later." Nica watched him while he waited for the drinks. She thought back to when they met, his brown hair was slicked back with faded sides and a full beard. Now he wore a crew cut and stubble. Nica assumed it was for the summer because he was also tanned to golden beige. He was sexy on all accounts to her especially when he walked. She chuckled to herself at her eagerness, some would even call her thirsty." He sat her drink and glass of water in front of her. "Thank you." He sat down, "Are you still interested in coming home with me?'" Nica swallowed hard, "when did I say that?" "You didn't. I only thought so because you showed up at my place." She smiled, "I don't know, it seems I struck out twice before." "Third time's the charm." He said but didn't smile or try to convince. Nica surveyed his face as if she would find the answer, but it was unreadable. After a long pause she replied, "yeah, are you ready now." "Yep." Dillon stood up and reached for her hand. "Would you like me to drive you or will you be taking your car?" "I'll take my car," Nica replied. "Ok," he said. They walked outside the bar, "my car is parked just here." He pointed to a silver Toyota Supra across the street. "I'll drive you to your car and you can follow me." "Where did you park?" "Just over on the side street." He pulled up beside her car, "ok, just follow me. "Ok, she said softly and got out of the car and into hers. She followed him to his side of town.
He opened the door to his condo and Nica followed him inside. It was dim and cold and the only light was from the over head light above the sink. It gave the kitchen an amber glow. She followed him into the kitchen where he removed his cap and opened the cabinet and got out two wine glasses and poured them each a bit of red wine. He handed her a glass,"oh, I'm ok." He smiled and sat the glass down on the counter. "Maybe just a little," she said, reaching for the glass. He ran his hand over his head and leaned against the counter facing her. "What?" she asked. "Nothing." he replied but stared at her. She sat her wine glass on the counter and walked over to him and kissed him feeling the violence of his lips send hot blood rushing through her body. He put his hand inside the slit of her skirt, running his fingertips lightly up the back of her thighs. She pulled back and walked casually across the kitchen to face him again. It was a silent challenge for him to take up. Nica could see he was aroused. He smiled and accepted he approached her and got on his knees. He pushed her skirt open wider, placing kisses on the inside of her thighs. He traced the outline of her pear shape with his tongue, sliding her nude thong down her thighs. She held onto his shoulders running her fingers over the thick muscles as she stepped each leg out. He stood up and she pulled up his shirt exposing his broad chest and the V shape of his abdomen. She kissed the center of his chest softly. "I want to feel you," he whispered and he guided her body towards the kitchen floor. She laid down onto the cold tile, a chill shot through her body, her nipples hardened and she arched her back slightly. He stood up, removing his jeans and underwear as he walked over to a cabinet in the kitchen and removed a box of condoms and took one out. He walked back over to her and stood in front of her while he put it on, deliberately letting her see his dick. He was clearly proud. "Who keeps condoms in the kitchen?" Nica laughed. "I do," he said as he kneeled in front of her parting her legs sliding up her skirt around her waist. He guided himself inside her pushing slowly. Nica pushed her pelvis up towards him arching her back, receiving him as she closed her eyes. "Look at me," he said and he began to move in out of her. He studied her face, watching her eyes and mouth as he thrusted. Nica moved back and forth sliding against the tile. He picked up her right leg and held it up, turning her over on her side. He entered her again, rolling his body, his dick moving in and out. His eyes fixed upon Nica's face, her body signaling to him with subtlety at first and building as he drilled. Her pulse quickened sending waves of tingles throughout her body. She began panting, wetness sloshed inside her and then she came, rapidly contracting onto his dick. He pulled out of her and laid on the floor beside her. They were both quiet and still. Nica suddenly shivered and he turned to her, "Are you cold?" "Yes!" "Why is it so damn cold in here? It's like a fucking freezer." She laughed. "I'm sorry," Dillon said. "I like it cold I guess." "Here," he reached out his hand to pull her up from the floor. He took off the condom, throwing it into a stainless steel trash can. "Let's go into the bedroom." "I need to use the bathroom first," she said as she made her way to the hall bathroom. She flipped on the light and shut the door and stepped onto the tan bath mat. She scrunched her toes into it, leaving soft impressions in the spongy fabric. Dillon hollered through the door, "there's a robe in the closet." "Thanks," she mumbled, "I'm gonna need it." She washed herself in the sink, dried off and thought, I can't think of a time I've cum the very first time I had sex with someone. She smiled at the thought and put on the terry cloth white robe and stumbled down the dark hallway to his bedroom. He was in bed with a sheet across his bottom half, she climbed in next to him. He asked, "reality versus fantasy?" "I don't understand." Was I better in person?" he turned to her with a smile. "Why do you assume I've thought about it?" " I know you thought about it, you showed up here, I'm hoping you enjoyed yourself." Nica thought briefly not to give him the validation, but she did. "You were good in person." He smiled, "just good, we'll have to work to improve that." He was on his back so Nica laid flat on hers beside him. "Take off that silly robe." She did and they fell asleep.

Nica awoke feeling cold and numb. She was uncovered in Dillon's bed with her leg under his. His bedroom was still dark and she slowly moved her leg from underneath his and crawled out of bed. She shook it out to wake it up and stumbled her way into the en suite bathroom. She hoped to slip out quietly and fumbled around for the light while closing the bathroom door. But he appeared in the doorway and flicked it on for her. She jumped with surprise and he laughed, "you know you don't have to do this." "Do what?" "The whole sneak away thing." "If you are ready to go, tell me." "I thought you were sleeping." "It's cool, I'll walk you out." He switched on the lights in the bedroom and Nica instantly thought of when the club lights come on after a night of drinking and dancing. No change fell upon him in the light and Nica smiled inwardly as she looked at his naked body. She contemplated staying but he was already putting on a pair of blue joggers. "I'm ready." she said and he walked her to her car and gave her kiss. "Don't be a stranger," he said and shut her car door. She started her car and waved goodbye and drove off. Nica thought, I did it. 223Please respect copyright.PENANAqRGuStIDvb
