There is a difference between one's sex and one's gender.709Please respect copyright.PENANAtQDzpyX6nE
One's SEX is determined biologically. Chromosome, internal and sexternal sex organs determine sex.
GENDER is how one identifies themselves. Male, female, non-binary...There's quite a long list actually.
For examples one's biological sex could be male, but their gender identity could be female. Or one's biological sex could be female but that same person's gender could be demi-male.
Why is this important? Well for starters if I hear "But you are a guy/boy/male/man" one more flipping time I will lose it.
I get that not everyone approves...Not everyone understands...but it isn't a choice. We can't control how we feel gender wise any more than you can control who your biological parents are.709Please respect copyright.PENANAXWN5rmgGXH
People how are outside what is considered gender morns are too often misunderstood and judged. This blog will hopefully help you understand the differences.
So remember folks, sex and gender ARE NOT the same thing!!
