This one really gets to me as a genderfluid biological male who uses they/them pronouns.
Not everyone goes by he or she pronouns. There are other pronouns out there. Respect peoples pronouns. If they are trans respect their gender...
For people who don't get it...don't worry about what's in their fucking pants.If you don't know someone's gender but know they don't identify by their biological sex ask them. Ask what pronouns they use.
If someone corrects you on their pronouns don't brush them off. If you make a mistake, correct yourself.
Here's a chart..there are other pronouns that may be used, but this is just to give you something to work with.
I'm not really familiar with all of these myself, though if someone used a set of pronouns I didn't know, I would try to learn the proper pronouns.
Proper use of one's pronouns is polite. It may be confusing. You may not catch on right away, but an effort should be made. Put yourself in their shoes. Would you want pronouns you don't identify with used in context with you?
