Part One: Misty Falls
John Patterson looked at the map.
'There it is, Mom. Misty Falls, Indiana'.
She smiled, and nodded.
'Where's Eloise?', Karen Patterson asked him.
'In the Girl's Restroom', John answered.
'Find her', Jane Patterson insisted.
John nodded.
He took off his seatbelt, and opened the passenger-side door.
'I'm coming', Eloise said.
She had a lot of soap on her hands.
'Dry your hands', John said.
Eloise found a rag.
'Dry your hands, sister'.
She nodded, as the drama started.

The road led to the Olsen House.
An African American woman appeared.
'Lord, look at who's here'.
She watched the new family.
John saw her, and smiled.
He took off his seatbelt.
As he opened the passenger-side door, he saw some teenagers. They were holding baseball bats in their hands. One of them grinned. 'Do you want to play? I'm Ian Fletcher', he asked.
'John Patterson', he answered.382Please respect copyright.PENANAVbolkRnko1

'Child, you know not to tell about them', the African-American woman warned. Ian Fletcher nodded, and left them alone. The house delivery men arrived.
