John appeared at the school.

'Who are you?', Rod Dall asked.

'John Patterson', he answered.

'You're not from Indiana'.

'No. Wisconsin'.

'Oh, that state'.

'Yes'.

'John, where are you?', Eloise asked.

'Here', John answered.

'Oh, you're here because of the gangsters'.

'We just came here to Misty Falls'.

'Welcome to crime city', Rod said.

He didn't smile.

The school was full of students.

Eloise looked at the names on the walls.

'We have English class', she said.

'With who?', John asked her.

'Mrs. Frasier', Rod answered.

He watched the thirty year old English teacher.

'Welcome to Misty Falls School'.

She grinned, and John thought she was different from other teachers.

He was right.
