Once upon a time, there lived a family in the Red Cross country. They had a little cottage filled with happiness and joy. The family who lived there were the Martins. They had three children. One was Becky the eldest then Angel and then Robert. They lived with there parents happily. The village seemed to be happy. One day, Father brought the children some new toys. Becky got a beautiful doll to play with, Robert got an electronic trading and Angel got an art kit. Robert was playing but the train's engine went 'BOOM'!
He didn't cry but he was upset. He didn't call Father or he would have to rush home for the broken train. Father came home early. He found out that Robert was upset because of the train. Becky told Father everything.
"Well, Robert we could keep this for repairing on a rainy day!" Father cried happily.
Robert was happy, but then the bell rang. Usually, people don't come to villages but today someone wanted to meet Father. Father led the men to the office. The office was a spare room. Later, it was childrens' bedtime. The girls got dressed and Robert went to the office after getting dressed.
"I am sure this didn't happen!" yelled Father.
" I am so sorry sir please listen to us you have to go." explained one of the men.
Robert heard this conversation while standing outside the office.
"Come here, Robert Francis!" whispered Mother.
Robert was scolded from Mother and was sent to bed. The very next morning, Mother was not at home which was strange. A maid was sent to the cottage.
"Hey! I am Remy! Your mother sent me to give you breakfast, clean your rooms and dress up the girls." told Remy.
The girls got dressed. The house was cleaned and the children had pancakes. It was about to be dark when the bell rang. It was Mother! She was all tired and her body ached. The girls took of Mothers gloves, boots and coat. Robert made some tea.
"My baby chicks, your Father will be away from home for sometime, we have to stay united and together." told Mother. The children were upset.
