We were happy with our lives everything was amazing until...my parents were murdered when I was 9 and after that I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. so my grandma took me in and raised me until I was 11 and I attended Hogwarts. when I graduated Hogwarts I said goodbye to all my friends and traveled to the muggle world, got a job as a defense attorney, and I was happy for the time being. At this point in my life everything was happy again. I was great. My life was great. Then Matt came into my life and he was amazing we did everything together except work, he's a bar owner. I met him when we were in college our relationship was great...but after a year it got bad. He would occasionally grab my wrist to hard and push against a wall. I didn't think anything of it because it never escalated...at least not until my 21st birthday. I went out drinking with my friend Nathan and his boyfriend James, Jane and her husband Brian we stayed out a little past 2 am and when I got home he was furious. I wasn't that drunk but I was a bit tipsy and when I told him I didn't care if he thought I was spending to much time with my friends and I didn't care about anything he thought about my life....he punched me over and over again. I was stuck in the house for a week I had to tell my job that I was sick with flu. Worst of all I was stuck in that house with...HIM. It went on like that for years...he would apologize...I would start to think that when he said it was my fault he cheated,it was my fault he punched,kicked and slapped me...I felt that he was right. I thought it was my fault and it went on like that until I decided to try and leave but he woke up and he broke my nose, my wrist, and two of my fingers. My work record of 405: cases won and 89: cases lost jumped around like crazy because I wasn't myself...so I quit without him knowing and told them I would eventually come back.

I thought I was never gonna get away and I needed to be at Hogwarts in a week, and I couldn't use magic on a muggle. But then he told me that we were going to see his family and I prayed to god that he wouldn't touch me in front of them...and he didn't. The first night I stayed to get a little trust from him but the second night I grabbed the bag I packed for the stay and put it in the back seat with my other suitcases and I drive off And just like that I was off to Hogwarts.
