I smile at the note and put my clothes on then check the time and see that dinner is about to start. I make my way to the hall making sure to use the teachers door, I felt a couple of eyes but I ignored them. I took my seat between Severus and Pomona, I send them both a smile letting them know I'm ok, causing the worried looks on their faces to fade. I'm so hungry i just immediately stuff my mouth, causing a really low and adorable laugh to leave sev. I like his laugh a lot, when we were little I didn't get to see it much I always tried to get people to leave him alone but they never listened. I gave him a small smile and continued eating ( yeah girl eat up 👏🏽) .

I'm feeling a lot better today. I know I'm ready. Right now I'm standing in my class with sev, he's helping me prepare today's first which is a bit scary and difficult but these kids will face it one day and it my job to teach them how to take it down. Once he leaves the students start to pile in "everyone come close in a group so I can introduce myself and we can get on with the lesson". They all form a deformed circle "ok so I'm professor Blane, and today we will be learning about decos, I'm about to show you a picture". I pull the picture out my bag.

They all look closely and start laughing a little. These kids have a lot to learn I open the box and the creature slowly stalks out. The kids take five steps back leaving me in front of it, immediately the creature stands tall, eyes glowing blood red, the white and black whisps beginning to mix and flow faster than ever.

I stand back and draw my wand (I made up this spell by the way) i wait for it to try and attack before screaming "xenden!" The creature flies back into the box along with the box locking. I turn around and almost laugh at how terrified these kids are. "Now listen closely, do not hesitate to say this spell once the creature has its eyes set on you it will not wait for you to get your wits about you. You must be quick and precise. You must say this spell perfectly. Now say it with me, xenden." Once they get a good grip on saying the spell I continue on. "Now this creature not only will attack anything it will also do...what? Who can tell me?." No ones hands go up. ( Hermione is not in this class if she was y'all would know) "it can also cause you to hallucinate, so no matter what you see do not hesitate to say the spell now form a line."

They all get into a straight line. One by one they all go up and execute it perfectly. Until a first year comes up and is so scared that she just stands there and the creature advances on her. So I push her back and before I can stop the creature, It swings at me and I fall backwards and I immedately feel blood dripping down my neck "run kids now!" They all pile out the class in a hurry and I get up frantically looking for my wand. I can't seem to find my wand so I run out of the classroom and the creature follows, it picks me up and throws me against the wall luckily the wall wasn't that far from us so it didn't hurt as much.

I sit up feeling pain shoot through my neck and shoulder, then I see my wand behind the creatures legs I slide through them and grab my wand I run back in the classroom and the creature follows I slide through it's legs again ignoring the pain and as it's distracted I scream "xenden" it flies back into the box and I lock the box.

The box bounces causing me to back into the hallway until my back hits the wall and then it stops and I take a breath I didn't know I was holding. Then all the professors and poppy come rushing around the corner Severus ahead of everyone. He apples pressure to the scratches and looks at me with a worried expression. I begin to see black spots in my vision and before I black out I hear someone scream she's loosing to much blood.

Hearing that causes me to flash back to when Matt threw me against the table in his house and a fork stabbed into my side and I had to be rushed to the hospital I died twice that night but they were able to bring me back. They asked what happened and I lied and said that I slipped while washing the dishes and the fork pushed into my ribs. I was discharged after a week. Matt didn't touch me for a while and I was grateful for that but one night he snapped when I told him I was going to be working till 9pm and he punched me and accused me of cheating.

Before he could punch I shot awake in the medical wing all sweaty and breathing heavily then I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and I knew who it was. Eventually he backed and started frantically checking me "are ok? Are you in pain? What happened? Did you b-" I it him by putting my hand over his mouth "I'm fine sev, that was actually fun" I remove and he smiles "you were always the only person who would say almost dying is fun." My owl flies into the room and lands on my thigh. I untie the letter form his leg and stroke him "thanks jay, here's your treat" he flies back out he window and I open the letter and what I read scares me to death.

I drop the letter and my hearts moving so fast i feel like it's gonna break my ribs the. It sinks in he's a squib. Sev pours a potion down my throat and tells me to rest. I begin to feel drowsy and my eyelids get heavy the I'm engulfed in darkness.

Once she's asleep I grab the letter...I don't wanna invade her privacy but she got all scared and her anxiety triggered so I had to see what caused her to go from being bubbly and beyond happy back to breaking down and sobbing.
