Here is where I will list what I'm tweaking. If something changes for how I feel it will be executed, I shall strike it out and put the date the change is made to that with listing off the change.
World
> Magic existed in full in the past but faded from the public's knowledge due to the documents being kept out of the public hands.
> Semblance and Aura are one in the same. Just one is always active, Aura = Defense and the other is either Active/Passive = Offensive.
> Semblances and Auras are a residue from magic when it faded. So everyone has Aura so a Shield before they start taking damage that can threaten their life. Not everyone though has a Semblance as an event tends to be what awakens these in some form.
> Only ones with actual magic remaining and remembers what happened to magic is Oz and Salem.
> The God Brothers are going to be a single Goddess. This change is because I liked YT creator Switchback Channel's idea for his fan series called REMNENTS and I'm so looking forward to his. My thinking is slightly tweaked though as Dust was a gift from the Goddess to her people along with magic which became known as Semblances and Auras as were a residue left behind after magic for some reason vanished.
> Grimm are, again this is an idea from Switchback Channel that I liked, created by souls of the dead who were greatly unhappy or died in a messy way. My wording though is slightly different form his. I do recommend people check him out and what he's got so far for his REMNENTS project. This eliminates the pool and why there's never a body left behind. If it's a creation made physical from a soul, it wouldn't have a body left behind and would add into why they're drawn to strong negative emotions.
> Later in the RWBY show cannon, it's said Semblance's can "evolve" and I'm not opposed to this but how it would happen is through training it, to grow it which is hard and not that easy so not many do it.
> Faunus were always present even in the time of magic and the reason humans turned on the Faunus was due to the magic fading and so blamed them since humans had no other answers as to what happened to their magic. This lead to the conflict between them, creating more Grimm and eventually after the war, you have a world filled with monsters made of negative emotions, drawn to strong negative emotions and a need for fighters who are able to fight against these monsters using the new type of magic called Semblances.
> There must be a soul for something to have Aura and a Semblance. This is due to there has to be something using it. This explains the Grimm not having Aura or a Semblance. There's no living soul so the residue of magic had nothing to cling to.
Maidens
> Maiden's powers would had come from Oz as a way to combat against Salem who gains control of Grimm through showing those unhappy souls love and comfort, showing them acceptance as others show them fear and violence.
> Their powers by with season would be limited as followed:
Spring = Storms [Added 3-20-21: Eyes glow green]465Please respect copyright.PENANAWpH7SbTSmb
Summer = Fire [Added 3-20-21: Eyes glow yellow]465Please respect copyright.PENANAGO3nn0Os7D
Fall = Wind [Added 3-20-21: Eyes glow orange]465Please respect copyright.PENANAMrXXyvfwlE
Winter = Ice [Added 3-20-21: Eyes glow ice blue]
> Silver Eyes would had been a result from the Maiden powers being absorbed into a growing life if the person picked has a family while carrying the maiden powers.
> The Maiden powers are magic in a limited form, see list above.
> The 4 women were told they would have power to help others as much as they wanted by Oz, just not told what would happen when they died. Upon death, they find themselves lost in the world, a specter. They can see into people's hearts and are able to easily make an agreement with someone of a good heart, allowing the 2 souls to exist separately in 1 body, no mergers. If a Maiden wants to join someone with an ill intentioned heart then it is harder but can be done by making a contract which will eventually result in absorption by the Maiden, darkening her own magic encased soul which can eventually lead to corruption or even madness.
Relics
> Currently thinking they were created by Salem with Oz's help in the past. They were created to contain the world's magic.
> Inside each is a soul promised to be freed from their current life by Salem and Oz is compliant but isn't fully pleased to be doing so yet can't think of a good counter argument against her. I'm thinking to keep the Relics having souls in it because I freaking love You All Write's theory on Jinn. Go check it out by the way.
> Each on their own has their own way of using the magic stored inside them, as the magic is attached to the trapped soul, as explained below.
Lamp (Knowledge) = Knows all from the past but has nothing for the future since the future is ever changing. Can make a prediction but that prediction is based on how the cards appear to be falling [from the past to current] at the time of asking. [You get 3 questions before 100 years must past before another 3 questions may be asked.]
Staff (Creation) = Give life/power to whoever holds it or it is attached to, much like see in the show so far.
3-13-2021: Due to the reveal there is a soul like Jinn in the Staff named Ambrosius and the contradicting between what is said and shown, here is what I'm laying down for myself. The Staff when held to summon the spirit must say the name given to the spirit, much like how one must say Jinn's given name to activate the item. The holder may ask for things to be created but Ambrosius is unable to destroy, that falls to the Sword spirit to do. When something is created, something must be present to create what is requested. (ex: to create a life, there must be a pre-existing soul since the spirit isn't a God/Goddess) You only get 3 requests before must wait 100 years to make another 3 requests. Yes, I'm keeping the same limits that Jinn said was for asking her questions of the past.
Crown (Choice) = Allows future sight, giving multiple pathways for how the future might turn out based on that one point of where paths diverge depending on what choice is made. This does not account for future choices that are not taken into factor with this future sight. (not seen in show yet)
Sword (Destruction) = Can destroy to nothing a creature or item with one swipe. If used too much the user has a chance to fall into a routine of destruction due to paranoia that no one and nothing can be trusted. A darker side of magic. (not seen in show yet)
> Each item would draw Grimm due to the trapped souls being in pain from too much magic at once connected to them so it's like a torture prison.
> Not all can manifest a fictional version of the soul. Jinn is the only one known to manifest to deliver the power they wield.
> The fictional body was developed by both Oz and Salem. Salem because to flex created spells and Oz out of shame for the guilt he was feeling for not standing up to her and going along with this idea to fit her ideal that sounded good at the time but started looking less favorable.
> When combined they will glow and start producing raw magic back into the world. Until destroyed or separated, they will continue producing magic into the world that has since grown to run without the use of magic's raw true form.
> They are sealed away by the Maidens when they were once combined by Oz thinking he could undo what he did after giving those 4 women magic. When the raw magic began being released into the world, the Maiden's began to feel as if they were going mad due to the overload hitting them. To end this they forced them apart and hid them. Oz was told of where they were by the Summer Maiden and who's power was used where to seal them. The Summer Maiden trusted he would respect their wishes to leave them sealed away and kept separate, to maintain balance in the world and not bring it's end.
