There is a school called Phoenix High in the outskirts of pleasantville for monsters and humans. First there is me Takumi, Takumi Usui, I am a vampire. Today I start my third year at Phoenix High. I start walking towards number 69. As I walk down the hallway with my friends I arrive outside the dorm, and walk in backwards. I wave to my friends goodbye, then I bump into someone. I fall over, realising I am on top of a girl that is half naked, and one I have never seen before. I stand up, and help the girl up with me.
I Stuttered...“I’m... incredibly... sorry miss, I wasn’t watching where I was going” I look her up and down. And go red.
She says “It’s okay….I had my headphones in, I didn’t hear you come in. My name is Misaki Ayuzawa. A third year, what about you?”
“My name is Takumi, Takumi Usui. You can call Takumi...if you want…I’m a third year as well..”
Misaki says “I’m actually new to this school…..as is my little sister Gou, she's a first year”
“So what are you? For example, I am a pureblood vampire?, You?” I say in an interested tone, sitting down on the bed crossing my legs.
Misaki says “I’m also a vampire, but not a pureblood and my sister didn't inherit the vampire genes although she has super speed and sight.”
I look at her and say “Well at least I am not stuck with a salamander like last year….I’m lucky enough to be with a beautiful girl.” she looks up to me and says,
“I’m really not that beautiful.”
“Um… sorry to interrupt our conversation but maybe you could make yourself look a little more presentable please?” I asked looking down blushing.
“Oh….umm S-sorry..! I’ll put a top on…” Misaki runs over to her dresser and pulls out a plain white t-shirt. She throws it on, turns around blushes and looks down. Seeing her in her white t-shirt and long black jeans makes me think Damn she’s cute. Then she says “Crap…...I have to go..” I look up at her and say “Wait!” she grabs her bag and says “Sorry, I have to go to work, We'll talk later.”
I get a text from my mate Ai,

I re-orientate myself, after the ordeal with Misaki. I grab my wallet and walk out the door.
I see Fujimori, Hashiba and Ai standing there.
“Hey there, Usui, you ready?”
“Yeah mate let’s go”
“So who’s your roommate this year?
“Well let’s just say I am not stuck with a salamander this time... But she is- pretty.”
“Oh come on tell us”
“No let's just leave it at that”
They nod but I'm sure they have more to say because Ai has this look on his face like he knows something I don't. We start walking up the road, as we walk up to the the maid cafe, I say,
“I haven’t been to this maid cafe before”
They punch my shoulder playfully as we walk into the shop.
When we walk in we are blanketed in the smell of coffee and sweets. A maid dressed in a employee's’ uniform come up to us and says in a cute voice,
“Welcome to Maid Latte Masters, please follow me”
We follow the maid to the table in the far corner where we can see the whole cafe. As I look around I observe the beautiful flowers in the far corner that are full of orchids. The room is very open, as I scan the room some more an employee comes out of the staff area, in a black dress that goes down to her knees holding a tray. I then realise it’s Misaki and blush.While this is all happening my friends notice that I am blushing. And say in unison...
“That's her isn’t it? your new roommate? She's hot.”
“Shut up! Or she'll hear us, I don't want her to think I'm stalking her or something.”
Then in the confusion Ai yells out “Hey Misaki over here…!”
“Shut up Ai… Never mind nothing here.” I yell putting my hand over Ai’s mouth to stop him from saying anything else to embarrass me. I watch in horror as Misaki comes over, I quickly cover my face with my hood in hope that she won't recognise me. She walks over and grabs some empty cups. Ai stands up, grabs her by the waist and says,
"Got a boyfriend Misaki?”
Then out of nowhere Ai kisses her, in the process my hood falls off and Misaki looks at me. After the shock passes she says in a bitchy tone,
"Sorry Master, but no kissing"
Then slaps him and storms into the kitchen.
After we walk out of the café I yell at Ai,
“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR YOU BASTARD!” As I punch him I tell him to just go home. I then once the the commotion dies down I say bye to Fujimori and Hashiba, tell them that I'll wait till Misaki’s shift is over and walk home with her.
